For Drum, Tank & Rail Car Sampling
These disposable samplers are designed to extract samples from drums, tanks, tankers, and rail cars. The HDPE (polyethylene) samplers are manufactured in four standard lengths of 18", 42",7' and 9', and are available in sampling capacities of 75ml to 1L.
The sampler is
quick and easy to use. Just insert the sampler into the drum or tank
to be sampled, pull up on the handle to lock the sample in place,
remove the sampler from the tank and push down on the handle to
release the sample. The sampler can also be used to sample at a
specific depth by closing the valve before inserting the sampler and
opening the valve by pushing
down on the handle to open the valve once the desired sampling depth
has been reached.
Unlike other samplers which require the operator to hold the valve closed, the unique design of our sampler holds the valve assembly closed, allowing the operator to use one hand or both hands to remove the sampler from the drum or tank.
The samplers are available standard, antic-static, sterilized, or pre-cleaned.
Standard samplers are manufactured for virgin HDPE material.
Pr-cleaned sampler have been washed to a EPA protocol and are individually packaged.
Sterilized samplers are pre-cleaned, individually packaged and have been sterilized by gamma radiation.
Anti-static samplers are manufactured from virgin anti-static HDPE plastic to reduce the possibility of static discharge and sparking.

PTFE Coliwasa
The CONBAR
ep PTFE
coliwasa is the ideal sampler to use when sampling liquids and
semisolid
materials.
Unlike other PTFE samplers, our sampler is
manufactured
completely from PTFE, not PTFE coated materials.
In use, the assembly is lowered into the drum or tank with the valve assembly open to allow the liquid to enter the sampler. The inner PTFE rod is then pulled slightly upward to close the valve and seal in the sample.
If a sludge sample is required, gently push the sampler into the sludge while pulling up on the inner rod. This action will create a vacuum which will entrap the sludge sample.
