Bomb Samplers
Our hybrid poly/stainless samplers are now manufactured using a stainless steel body in place of the original polyethylene bodies.
Our newest bomb ( point source) samplers are designed to be either disposable or reusable products. When cross-contamination is a consideration, the sampler can be disassembled and cleaned in a matter of minutes.
The samplers can be used to extract samples from various depths in tanks, tank cars, lakes, ponds, wells, and wherever sampling at a specific depth is required.
The stainless steel-polyethylene bomb samplers are manufactured using a stainless steel body and high density polyethylene valve assembly. The plunger assembly, which is manufactured from stainless steel, holds the valve closed once the sample is taken.
In use, the samplers require two lines (not supplied), one to raise and lower the sampler and one to open the valve assembly. The valve assembly can also be opened automatically when the sampler contacts a hard surface, such as the bottom of a tank, or it may be manually activated by the operator at various depths with the use of a pull line.
When raised, the plunger automatically reseals, closing off the inlet port and locking the sample in place.
NEW! Should your application require a smaller diameter or a sampler with less volume, CONBAR ep now has a 3/4" X 3' sampler. The sampler is manufactured from a polyethylene tube and incorporates a stainless steel weight system. Operation is the same as our standard hybrid samplers.
